Coming on the heels of Ford's new 2011 Explorer is Dodge's mid-sized SUV. Seen here with less camouflage cladding (but more psychedelic swirly vinyl) is the 2012 Durango replacement. According to Autoblog, it has not been made clear if the vehicle will be called the Durango or the Magnum since it is technically replacing both vehicles.

From what we can tell here, the 2012 Durango/Magnum will feature the same aggressive upfront design language that we have seen on other Dodge models such as the Charger and the Ram Truck. We expect that the vehicle will be powered by a choice between V6 and V8 engines.

Expect to see the 2012 Durango/Magnum make its worldwide debut at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show or the 2011 Detroit Auto Show either under the Dodge or Ram moniker.
