Nissan announced a Scholarship Competition for university students in conjunction with their LEAF Zero Emission Tour today. They are taking their LEAF vehicle on a tour across the country and will be stopping at university campuses along the way.

The competition allows enrolled university and college students to express how the Nissan LEAF has inspired their outlook towards a zero-emissions future. The contest kicked off at the University of Southern California campus today, which is the first university stop on the Nissan LEAF Zero Emissions Tour.

Students may enter the competition via the Nissan's Facebook page. One student from each of the participating universities will be selected as a winner based on the creativity, relevance to the theme and originality of their entry response. The winning students, to be named at the end of the Nissan LEAF Zero Emissions Tour, will receive a $500 scholarship.
