Volkswagen of America has announced that final editions of the 2010 Beetle model will be availiable at dealers in next Spring. Only 1,500 of the each of the body styles, coupe and convertibles will be produced. 

 

Innovative features will make them distinguishable from earlier models.

 

There won't be any color options for the final editions, the coupe will be layered in Aqurius Blue Paint with a black roof, and the convertible will be two tone, having a white cloth top, and Aquarius Blue and Campanella White to finish off the rest of the car.

 

Badges will be placed on each of the cars denoting that they are the Final Editions and they will receive numbered steering wheels as well.

 

The coupe offers fog lights and individually numbered badges, while alloy wheels and a sporty front suspension are included are standard on both.


Both body styles come with 150 Horsepower, 170 foot/pounds of torque powerhouse, thanks to a 2.5 liter 5- cylinder engine. A six speed automatic transmission is bolted to the back of Volkswagens gasoline engine to get the driver where they need to go.

 

The transmission also features driver selectable gear shifting, and gives the Beetle's MPG ratings of 20 city, 29 highway.

 

To keep Volkswagen owners safer, both final editions are fitted with Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP), helping the car handle many hazardous driving conditions.

 

The 2010 New Beetle Coupe is priced at $20,240, and the 2010 New Beetle Convertible is priced at $27,170.
