Hyundai is moving up the social ladder for this year's Academy Awards, as they'll be featuring the voices of seven celebrities in the eight planned commercials for the night.
They had to do it because Oscar rules limit the use of nominees in advertising during the broadcast. This is because the long-time "voice" of the brand, is up for best actor honors for his role in "Crazy Heart."
The celebrities being featured include: Kim Basinger, David Duchovny, Catherine Keener, Michael Madsen, Mandy Patinkin, Martin Sheen, and Rich Dreyfuss I and II.
Hyundai is having a new product blitz where it will introduce seven new models in 24 months. The 2011 Sonata joins the Tucson in ushering in a new era of modern design for the Hyundai brand, while retaining its heritage of quality, safety and value. An all-new flagship large sedan based on the Equus which is available internationally, will be unveiled this year.
Next year, Hyundai will introduce a redesigned Accent and Elantra, and two all-new introductions including a sporty coupe and crossover.
